Sylas has been crafting by hand since his youth. He began his formal study of fine woodworking with Gary Rogowski at his school Northwest Woodworking School in Portland, Oregon in 2012.From there he attended The Vermont Woodworking School in Fairfax, Vermont in 2013 and stayed on as a resident Maker until 2015. He has built pieces that have been exhibited in shows, including the MET in NYC.He brings an eye for detail and aesthetics to projects whether they be custom furniture pieces or luxury custom cabinetry.
